Result Options

Acadlix provides comprehensive Result Options to give both admins and students valuable insights after a quiz. You can fully customize how results are displayed, helping create a tailored quiz experience.

Statistic Options

Save Statistics

The Save Statistics feature in Acadlix records detailed quiz data for each user attempt, helping admins track performance and progress.

How It Works:

  • Attempt Data: Saves user scores, time taken, and question-wise performance after each quiz attempt.
  • IP Lock: Prevents spamming by restricting how often a user’s statistics are saved. Admins can set a cooldown period (in minutes) before the next attempt’s data can be logged.
  • Attempt Limits: Allows admins to control how many times a user’s quiz statistics are recorded, ensuring only valid attempts are saved.

Use Cases:

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor user performance over multiple attempts for learning and improvement.
  • Spam Prevention: Protect quiz data integrity by preventing users from flooding the system with multiple attempts.
  • Competitive Exams: Ensure only genuine attempts are counted, making leaderboards and scores accurate.

Pair this with Per User Allowed Attempt to create a tightly controlled quiz environment where both participation and data logging follow strict rules.

Result Options

Hide Result

The Hide Result feature in Acadlix allows admins to control whether quiz results are shown to users immediately after quiz submission.

How It Works:

  • When enabled, users will not see their scores, correct/incorrect answers, or any result summary after completing the quiz.
  • Admins can still access quiz results from the backend to review user performance.
  • This setting works for all quiz modes, including Advanced Mode for competitive exams.

Use Cases:

  • Competitive Exams: Useful for tests where results are announced later, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assessment Rounds: Ideal for multi-stage exams where revealing scores immediately might influence future attempts.
  • Teacher Evaluation: Helps teachers or admins review answers before disclosing results.

Pair this with Save Statistics to silently record user data while keeping their scores hidden until you’re ready to release them.

Hide Negative Marks

The Hide Negative Marks feature in Acadlix allows admins to conceal the negative marking details from quiz participants.

How It Works:

  • When enabled, users won’t see how many marks are deducted for incorrect answers — either during the quiz or after submission.
  • The negative marking still applies silently, affecting the final score, but the penalty details remain hidden from the user.
  • Admins can review the full breakdown — including negative marks — from the quiz reports in the backend.

Use Cases:

  • Competitive Exams: Keeps the quiz environment realistic by not revealing penalty rules upfront, mimicking many official exams.
  • Psychological Strategy: Prevents users from second-guessing answers out of fear of losing marks, encouraging a focus on accuracy rather than avoidance.
  • Custom Result Announcements: Useful when admins want to control when and how they share the full score breakdown.

Hide Quiz Time

The Hide Quiz Time feature in Acadlix allows admins to conceal the total time taken by users from the quiz result page.

How It Works:

  • When enabled, the time spent on the quiz will not be shown in the result summary — users won’t know how long they took to complete the quiz.
  • This does not affect the quiz timer itself — the time limit still applies, and the quiz will auto-submit if the time runs out.
  • Admins can still view the time taken for each attempt in the backend under the Results section.

Show Speed

The Show Speed feature in Acadlix displays a user’s quiz speed — calculated as the number of questions attempted per minute — in the Result Section.

How It Works:

  • Once enabled, users will see their attempt speed alongside their quiz score on the result page.
  • The speed is calculated using the formula:

Speed = Total Questions Attempted ÷ Time Taken (in minutes)

  • Admins can view detailed breakdowns (including speed) in the Quiz Results section for all users.

Use Cases:

  • Competitive Exams: Helps users gauge their speed, which is crucial for time-bound tests like SSC, IBPS, and JEE.
  • Skill Evaluation: Useful for tests where both accuracy and speed matter — great for assessing quick decision-making skills.
  • Gamification: Motivates users by adding a performance metric, encouraging faster and more efficient answering.

Show Percentile

The Show Percentile feature in Acadlix displays a user’s percentile rank on the quiz result page, helping them understand how they performed relative to others.

How It Works:

  • The percentile score is calculated using the formula:

Percentile = [(User’s score) ÷ (Topper’s score)] × 100

  • Once enabled, users will see their percentile rank along with their quiz score in the Result Section.
  • Admins can view the percentile data for all participants in the Quiz Results section for deeper performance insights.

Show Accuracy %

The Show Accuracy % feature in Acadlix calculates and displays a user’s accuracy rate on the quiz result page, giving them a clear understanding of how precise their answers were.

How It Works:

  • Accuracy is calculated using the formula:

Accuracy % = (Number of Correct Answers ÷ Total Attempted Questions) × 100

  • It only considers the attempted questions — skipped or unanswered questions don’t affect the accuracy percentage.
  • Users will see their accuracy rate along with their quiz score in the Result Section.
  • Admins can review accuracy stats for each user in the Quiz Results panel.

Use Cases:

  • Skill Assessment: Helps users identify how accurate they were, regardless of their speed or total score.
  • Competitive Exams: Useful for tests where accuracy is crucial — like JEE, IBPS, and NTA exams.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Allows admins to spot users who attempt many questions but with low accuracy — signaling the need for better preparation strategies.

Pair this with Show Speed to give users a balance of both accuracy and pace insights.

Show Average Score

The Show Average Score feature in Acadlix displays the average score of all users who attempted the quiz, allowing participants to compare their performance against the group.

How It Works:

  • The average score is calculated using the formula:

Average Score = (Sum of all users’ scores ÷ Total number of users)

  • It appears in the Result Section, showing users how their score stacks up against others.
  • Admins can view detailed average scores and individual performances under the Quiz Results tab.

Use Cases:

  • Benchmarking: Helps users understand how well they performed relative to others, motivating them to push for above-average scores.
  • Competitive Exams: Useful for tests like JEE, SSC, or IBPS where candidates want to gauge their standing within a pool of competitors.
  • Data Insights: Provides admins with performance trends, helping identify if a quiz is too easy, too hard, or well-balanced.

Pair this with Show Percentile for a complete picture of both individual ranking and group performance.

Show Subject Wise Analysis

The Show Subject Wise Analysis feature in Acadlix breaks down quiz results by subject, giving users detailed insights into their performance across different topics or sections.

How It Works:

  • When enabled, the Result Section will display:
    • Subjects/Sections (like Math, English, Reasoning, etc.)
    • Number of questions attempted per subject
    • Correct answers per subject
    • Accuracy % for each subject
  • The data helps users identify their strong and weak areas.
  • Admins can view this breakdown in the Quiz Results tab to analyze subject-wise performance for individual users or the entire batch.

Use Cases:

  • Competitive Exams: Perfect for tests like SSC, IBPS, JEE, and NTA where exams are divided into multiple subjects.
  • Targeted Feedback: Helps users focus on weaker subjects, improving their overall scores.
  • Data Insights for Admins: Useful for adjusting quiz difficulty — if most users struggle with a subject, admins can revise question difficulty or provide extra resources.

Pair this with Sort Questions by Subject to organize quizzes logically and ensure users can track their progress by topic.

Show Status Based on Min % (Pass/Fail)

The Show Status Based on Min % (Pass/Fail) feature in Acadlix lets admins set a minimum passing percentage for quizzes. Based on this threshold, users will see a Pass or Fail status on their Result Page.

How It Works:

  • Admin Setup:
    • Admins define the minimum percentage required to pass a quiz.
    • Example: If the pass percentage is set to 40%, users scoring 40% or above will pass, while those scoring below will fail.
  • Result Display:
    • After quiz submission, users will clearly see their status as:
      • Pass — if their score meets or exceeds the set percentage.
      • Fail — if their score is below the required percentage.
  • Customization:
    • Option to hide scores and only show status — useful for exams where only pass/fail matters.

Answer Sheet Options

Acadlix offers flexible Answer Sheet Options to control how quiz results and responses are presented to users. These options help tailor the post-quiz experience according to the quiz type — whether it’s a competitive exam or a practice test.

Hide Answer Sheet

  • Purpose: Conceals the detailed answer sheet from users after quiz submission.
  • Use Cases:
    • Competitive Exams: Ideal for strict exams where correct answers shouldn’t be revealed immediately.
    • Retake Quizzes: Useful when users are allowed multiple attempts — preventing them from memorizing answers.
  • Admin Control: Admins can still access the answer sheets from the Quiz Results tab for internal review.

Show Per Question Time

  • Purpose: Displays the time taken for each question in the user’s answer sheet after submission.
  • Details Shown:
    • Question number
    • User’s answer
    • Time spent on each question (in seconds or minutes)
  • Use Cases:
    • Speed Analysis: Helps users track if they’re spending too much time on certain questions.
    • Exam Preparation: Useful for competitive exams like SSC, IBPS, JEE — where time management is crucial.
  • Bonus: Pair this with the Show Speed option to give users a complete view of their pace during the quiz.

Leaderboard Options

Acadlix’s Leaderboard feature boosts engagement by showcasing user rankings and quiz performance, fostering a competitive yet motivating environment. Admins can configure various leaderboard settings to suit the quiz type — whether for practice tests or competitive exams.

Activate Leaderboard

  • Purpose: Enables or disables the leaderboard for a quiz.
  • Use Cases:
    • Enabled: Great for practice tests or quizzes where competition drives motivation.
    • Disabled: Useful for private assessments where scores should remain confidential.

Total Number of Entries

  • Purpose: Sets how many top-performing users are displayed on the leaderboard.
  • Example:
    • Show Top 10 scorers for a quiz.
    • Or expand to Top 50 for large quizzes like competitive exam simulations.
  • Use Cases:
    • Small groups: Highlight top 3 for tight-knit teams.
    • Mass quizzes: Display top 100 for large-scale exams.

Show Rank

  • Purpose: Displays user ranks alongside their names and scores.
  • Use Cases:
    • Clearly indicates a user’s position — essential for quizzes mimicking real-world competitive exams.

Result Comparison with Topper

  • Purpose: Allows users to compare their scores directly with the quiz topper.
  • Details shown:
    • Name
    • Time
    • Score
    • Result %
    • Accuracy
    • Status
  • Use Cases:
    • Motivates students to understand how far they are from the top rank.
    • Highlights areas for improvement by directly comparing with the best performer.

User Can Apply Multiple Times

  • Purpose: Allows users to retake quizzes and reappear on the leaderboard multiple times.
  • Use Cases:
    • Useful for practice quizzes where users aim to beat their previous score.
    • Can be disabled for official tests to lock rankings after the first attempt.

Number of Times a User Can Apply

  • Purpose: Sets a limit on how many times a user can retake the quiz and attempt to appear on the leaderboard.
  • Example:
    • Unlimited Attempts: Great for casual quizzes.
    • Limited to 3 Attempts: Useful for controlled practice sessions.
  • Use Cases:
    • Encourages users to strategize their attempts rather than spam the leaderboard.
    • Helps admins maintain fairness by capping retakes.

Automatically Display Leaderboard in Quiz Results

Acadlix lets you control how and where the leaderboard appears after a user completes a quiz. This flexibility ensures the result page remains clean or competitive — depending on your quiz type.

You have three display options:

  1. Don’t Display
  • Purpose: Hides the leaderboard entirely from the quiz result page.
  • Use Cases:
    • Private assessments: When you don’t want users comparing scores.
    • Sensitive quizzes: Useful for non-competitive tests where rankings are irrelevant.
  1. Below the Result
  • Purpose: Automatically shows the leaderboard right below the quiz result summary.
  • Display:
    • The user’s score is shown first, followed by the top ranks or all entries — based on your leaderboard settings.
  • Use Cases:
    • Motivational quizzes: Perfect for competitive exams or tests where public ranking drives improvement.
    • Training sessions: Helps users instantly see how they performed compared to others.
  1. In the Button
  • Purpose: Displays a View Leaderboard button on the result page, allowing users to check rankings on demand.
  • Use Cases:
    • Clean layouts: Keeps the result page simple by hiding the leaderboard unless clicked.
    • Optional comparisons: Let users choose whether they want to view their ranking or just focus on their score.

Result Text Options

Acadlix lets you customize the Result Text displayed after a quiz — giving you control over how users experience their scores. You can choose between two modes:

  1. Direct Result Text
  • Purpose: Displays the same result message for all users, regardless of their score.
  • Use Cases:
    • Practice quizzes: Where motivation matters more than competition — like showing a simple “Quiz Completed! Great job!” message.
    • Surveys or feedback forms: Where scores don’t impact the result message.
  1. Based on Score Percentage
  • Purpose: Dynamically shows different result messages depending on the user’s score percentage.
  • How it works:
    • Set custom text for various score ranges — like:
      • 90% and above: “Excellent! You’re a quiz master!”
      • 70% – 89%: “Good job! Keep pushing.”
      • 50% – 69%: “Fair effort! Review and retry.”
      • Below 50%: “Don’t worry! Practice makes perfect.”
  • Use Cases:
    • Competitive exams: Offers instant feedback tied to performance levels.
    • Motivational learning paths: Encourages users with personalized messages rather than a one-size-fits-all result.
