Quiz Modes

Acadlix offers multiple Quiz Modes that control how quizzes appear and function on the front end. Each mode provides a unique experience for users:

Normal Mode:

Displays one question at a time, with navigation buttons to move between questions with the optional back button. By default, this mode has only the next button active but you can also enable the back button as per your need.

We have also added one interesting feature, especially for this mode and that is the”Attempt & move forward automatically“. This option helps to navigate students to next question for fast-paced quizzes or where the admin doesn’t want to give access to reattempt a question.

Check and Continue:

This mode Allows users to check their answers immediately after each question before moving to the next with an optional skip question button.

We have added one interesting feature, especially for this mode and that is the “Show Check Button When Option Selected“. This feature forces the user to answer the question before checking the correct answer.

Question Below Each Other:

The Question Below Each Other mode in Acadlix allows you to display multiple questions on a single page — stacked vertically, one below the other.

Key Features:

  • Pagination Support: Admins can set how many questions appear per page — perfect for long quizzes or surveys.
  • Flexible Layout: Ideal for quizzes where users can scroll through questions instead of navigating one at a time.
  • Check Answer Option:
    • Add a Check Answer button, letting users verify their responses instantly.
    • Optionally, display immediate feedback — showing correct/incorrect answers right after each selection.

Use Cases:

  • Surveys: Display all or a batch of questions at once to reduce unnecessary clicks.
  • Practice Tests: Let students review multiple questions on the same page before submitting.
  • Competitive Exams: Mimic exams where a fixed number of questions appear per page with “Next” and “Previous” navigation.

Advanced Mode:

The Advanced Mode in Acadlix is designed to deliver exam-specific tests, replicating the exact layout and experience of real competitive exams. This mode is perfect for creating high-stakes tests tailored to various formats, such as:

  • SSC (Staff Selection Commission)
  • IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection)
  • SBI (State Bank of India)
  • Railway Exams
  • JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)
  • NTA (National Testing Agency)

Key Features of Advanced Mode:

  • General or Exam-Specific Layout: Customize quizzes to match the format of well-known exams.
  • Subject-Wise Time Limits: Set individual time limits for each subject or section.
  • Subject-Wise Question Counts: Define the number of questions for each subject.
  • Full-Screen Layout: Enable distraction-free exam environments.
  • Exam Instructions: Add Instruction 1 and Instruction 2 fields to guide users before they start the test.

Advanced Mode ensures your quizzes provide a realistic and professional exam experience for students.

Choose the quiz mode that best fits your quiz style and user experience goals.
