This Feature is added in the Acadlix v 1.5.0. With this feature, you can customize the student dashboard menu as per your requirements. You can disable the default student dashboard menu options, change the names, and add as many new menu items as you need. We have also added an option to sort these menu items by simply dragging and dropping.
How to add a new Student Dashboard Menu item?
You can add a new student dashboard menu item by following these simple steps:
Navigate to the Acadlix –> Settings –> Dashboard Menu.
Click on the “Add Menu Item” button.
A new modal will appear to enter the details about the new menu item
Enter the required Menu item name in the Menu name field.
The ID is basically a slug that will automatically get created, but you can modify it based on your needs.
Choose an icon for the dashboard menu item from the list.
Select the type, either Link or shortcode.
Paste the link or shortcode.
Click the “Save Changes” Button
Now you can add more menu items or click the “Save” button to save the menu.
How to edit a “menu item” from the student dashboard?
Navigate to the “Dashboard Menu”
Click the edit icon in front of the menu item that you want to edit.
Update the required details
Click the Save Changes button.
How to Delete or Hide a “Menu item” from the student dashboard?
We have added a visibility control option that helps you to enable or disable the menu item for the student dashboard.
Simply click the toggle button to hide or display the menu item on the front end.
- Enabled – Menu item will be visible on the front end
- Disabled – Menu item will be hidden on the front end
To delete a menu item, click on the delete icon in front of that.
Verify the deletion.
You can hide all the default or custom menu items, but you can only delete the custom-added menu items.
